Our Maundy Thursday observance begins with a simple soup supper in the fellowship hall at 6 pm.  Worship will begin around the tables in the Fellowship Hall at 7 pm and will focus on the retelling of the Passion Story from Matthew’s Gospel using 12 dramatic tellers who will give a creative interpretation of the passion narrative.  We will begin in the Fellowship Hall with the story of Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples and will then walk through the campus retelling the different scenes of the passion story.  The crucifixion story will be retold in front of our outside cross.  The service ends in a darkened sanctuary where Jesus’ entombment is retold. The congregation will depart in silence.
