Our Christian Education ministry is responsible for fostering the Christian educational and spiritual formation of our church members across all ages, from our very youngest to our oldest.
Below is the schedule for our Children’s Sunday School Classes:

SPOTLIGHT ON YOUTH
In addition to activities specific to young people, our youth groups are involved with our larger church community in many ways. Our youth groups sponsor our annual SOUPERBOWL OF CARING initiative to raise money to provide food to our community.
Activities offered to our Youth Groups change throughout the year – please be sure to check our Events Page for those events. Events include Valentines from the Church to nursing homes and rehab facilities, and Christmas Greeting Cards for shut-ins. During the different seasons of the church, we sponsor a Spring Easter-themed Festival and a special Christmas program. Our annual Fall Festival features crafts, food and fun for the whole family and Halloween-themed events for the kids. Our youth are invited on different Sundays throughout the year to participate with our Choir during the service.
Once a month, we get our SG KIDS together for fun arts and crafts following church the first Sunday of the month.
We encourage our congregation to interact with our youth, through reading programs – during their Sunday School, as guest speakers and guest “readers” of their favorite childhood stories.
SPOTLIGHT ON ADULT EDUCATION
St. Giles offers three different book clubs for adult participation – two on campus, and one at the Orange Park Library. The books change throughout the year but the focus on Christian Education stays the same. For the beginning of 2026, the following books have been chosen (times shown below):

Our Christian Education Committee is a vibrant community of people that meet every month to plan and update our activities throughout the year.
Beginning Sunday, August 16 at 9:00 a.m., we’re inviting the congregation into an 8‑week adult Sunday school series centered on one essential question: Why do we do this thing called church?
Using scenes from films and television as gentle conversation starters, we’ll explore themes of belonging, purpose, forgiveness, service, hope, and what makes our community distinctive. This is not a class with “right answers,” but a spacious, reflective journey where we listen deeply—to ourselves, to one another, and to the Spirit’s quiet invitations.
Come with curiosity. Come with your questions. Come ready to rediscover what grounds us, what calls us, and what makes this church worth investing in.
