Rev. Diane M. Wilson
Interim Pastor
St. Giles is a church with a long standing history in the community, even though we are
just 40 years old.  Located on the corner of Blanding Boulevard and Foxridge Road, St.
Giles is located in the heart of Orange Park.  But far more than St Giles' physical location as
a church building in the heart of Orange Park, is St. Giles' presence and outreach to the
community of Jacksonville, Florida.

Through our firm belief in the ministry of Jesus Christ, we feel called to reach out to those
in need. Throughout the year you will find that our congregation is busy at work, not only
collecting food and clothing items on a monthly basis; but our members regularly volunteer
to work at the local Clothes Closet, participate in annual CROP Walks, coordinate canned
food drives and organize and distribute seasonal food baskets, school supplies, clothing
items and toys for families and children in need in our community.

As our Lord loved and welcomed all, it is in that spirit of love that we welcome you to join
us for worship, study, fellowship and outreach.  Our doors are always open, as is our
invitation to you to join us around the Table of our Lord at the Lord's Supper on Sunday
mornings or around a table in a Sunday school classroom, meeting of our youth on
Sunday evenings, a weekly choir practice, monthly women's circle for Bible study or
monthly fellowship opportunities like our Trivia Nights, the Birthday Dinner Group or Monks
Night Out.

Yes, as you browse our website, it is our hope that you will find a group, an upcoming
event or an outreach ministry that speaks to your needs, causing you to come and visit
with us in person.  I am a firm believer, out of my own personal walk in the faith, that
there is nothing greater than finding a church family.  That is, a home away from home,
where you can feel at home.  Where you feel you have a place at the table and where
you genuinely feel loved and accepted no matter what, because you are a child of the
living God.

Last, but by no means least, as a Chaplain in the United States Navy for twenty years and
an Assistant Pastor in the First Presbyterian Church in Stockton, CA for eight years my
motto has long been, "My door is always open." My prayer is that if you or someone you
know is seeking a church home or pastoral care and spiritual nurture, that you will feel
free to visit us and to call or come by at any time.
